Some Layouts to Share.

I have quite a few layouts to share but, I am only sharing 2 today. The first one is for the challenge I posted on Cookin' Up Creations on Sunday. The challenge is another nursery rhyme challenge Birds of a Feather. I called my layout Rocker Nerd because that's what my daughter Rowynn calls herself. She is an extremely intelligent young lady (IB student, high IQ, super computer savvy, Mathlete) and she loves everything rocker(i.e. skulls, guitars(which she plays - self taught), keyboards(which she plays - self taught),black, etc)

Here is my layout.
Items I used to make this layout: Cardstock black, gray & lt. gray. Pattern Paper: Tim Holtz - ,idea-ology crowded attic, Amy Tangerine - sketchbook(chevron & spiral flower thingy), Metallic paper - silver, Washi tape - Recollections - black & music notes, Studio G: gray floral, Stamps: Ink by Steph - wings - Fiskars USA, Star & skull Stamps - Dollar bin,  Stamp Press: Fiskars USA, Stickers: Metal heart - Heidi Grace, Letters: small clear - Recollections, Lg Glitter black - Target, Silver ones - Mrs. Grossman, Ink: gray & black - Studio G, Stencil: Wings - Plaid, Paint: sprays - white, Trimmer - Fiskars USA, Punches: Jenni Bowlin - Flag - Fiskars USA, Skull - Studio -G

The second one is for a Cookin' Up Creations Nursery Rhymes Challenge - There was an Old Woman who Lived in a Shoe. For the challenge you had to use a vintage ad from Jello as your inspiration.

This is what I can up with.
Items used on for this layout are: Cardstock: Med. Blue & Gray- Bazzil Basic, Pattern Paper: Cream distressed  & the hexigons multi colored - Basic Grey, Cheron & circles - Amy Tangerine(sketchbook), Ink: Ranger Archival - black, Letters: Chipboard - Miss Elizabeth - Dollar Tree stores, Pen: Martha Stewart - black, Tools: Trimmer, Deco scissors & Micro Tip scissors - Fiskars USA

Just a quick reminder that there is still time for you to complete the mini album and the other challenges on the Cookin' up Creations site. The deadline for all the challenges is July 25th. I can't wait to see all of your wonderful projects.

I made some flowers and butterflies (I made copies my oldest daughter’s favorite book from that time; Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings. Then I misted them and created my embellishments the maroon flower and butterfly HP & green LOTR) for my layout.

Over at Cookin' Up Creations we're having all sorts of fun with Nursery Rhymes. I have today's Nursery Rhyme Challenge. I chose If All The World Were Paper.

If all the world were paper,
and all the sea were ink,
if all the trees
were bread and cheese,
what should we have to drink?

I chose to focus on the Ink & paper part of the rhyme. I challenge everyone to use misters on their projects. It could be a paint or dye/ink mister.

Here is the layout I created for the challenge

Carstock: Tan - Darice, Light Pink -DCWV
Pattern Paper: Coffee Bean - Paper Pizzaz, Floral, Stripe & Dot - MME
Stamps & stamp Press: Fiskars - Latte Love, Watercolor Pencils: Faber-Castell
Letters: Cloud9/Colorbok, Ink: Ranger Archival- Jet Black & Tim Holtz Distress ink - Walnut, Paints: Plaid - Brown, Pale Cream, Rhasberry & Black, Washi Tape: Target. Adhesive: Tobow, Pop dots: Recollections, Thread: Coats & Clark, Trimmer & Deco Scissors: Fiskars, Other: Coffee Sleeve - Joe Muggs - BAM
