Thankful with Rinea

Hello Crafty Friends - I am here with a Fall/Thanksgiving project today.

It's a fun and simple project.

Materials Used:
Wooden Leaf
Tim Holtz Alcohol Inks
Tim Holtz Alcohol Blender Solution
Ranger Perfect Pearls in Gold
Folk Art Metallic Gold Acrylic Paint
Thickers Chipboard Letter Marques
Jolees Leatherettes Leaves
Green Jute Cord
Craft Knife
Aleene's Tacky Glue

Let's get started

I added some of the alcohol inks to the Rinea Glossy/Glossy Gold 12x12 Foil Paper along with a bit of the blender solution to get a nice blend of the inks. I also added a tiny bit of gold Perfect Pearls dust will the ink was still wet. I set the Rinea Glossy/Glossy Gold 12x12 Foil Paper aside to dry.

Then, I added a bit of gold paint to the edges of the leaf.

Next, I added some adhesive to the leaf and
adhered the inked Rinea Glossy/Glossy Gold 12x12 Foil Paper to the leaf.

I trimmed the extra inked Rinea Glossy/Glossy Gold 12x12 Foil Paper away from the leaf using a craft knife. I used a small nail file to clean up my edges.

Next, I adhered the Thicker letters to the front and center of the leaf. Then I added two leatherette leaves to the top of the leaf by the hanger along with some jute cord for hanging and a bow.

Thank you for stopping by the blog today. I hope you found some inspiration!

So Thankful for You with Dies R US

Hello Crafty Friends - I am here with an easy thankful card perfect to send out for Thanksgiving or as a simple thank you card.

I used light fall colors for this card.

Let's get started!

I started by die cutting the flowers from yukon gold and pumpkin orange cardstock. 6 in total - 4 yukon gold and 2 pumpkin orange. I die cut the center of the flowers from metallic copper cardstock, the sentiment from the light yellow ochre cardstock. The leaves I die cut from leftover Rinea Foil Paper I used for another project - I used some Tim Holtz Alcohol inks on the foil paper. I trimmed my card front panel from Kraft cardstock (4-1/4" x5-1/2") and I also trimmed some striped pattern paper(4" x 5-1/4")

I adhered the pattern paper to the kraft cardstock panel. I then set it aside to work on the flowers.

I use a pad (you can use a mouse pad or thick craft foam) under my flower and a stylus and curl the flowers upward towards the center. I then put a bit of glue in the center of the flowers and stack them making sure that the petals are all alternating.  Finally, I adhered the center of the flowers.

Then, I adhered the leaves to the card panel. I placed them in the left bottom corner. Next, I adhered the flowers overlapping the leaves. Making sure to place the Medium flower toward the bottom for some weight. Then, I adhered the sentiment to the top of the card.
(below you can see a close- up of the leaves. I used reds and some green on the leaves)

For some finishing touches, I added some Jewels to the center of the flowers and in the upper right corner. I also added a yellow Heart to the card panel. I adhered the card panel to a white card base.

Now the card is complete!

Materials Used:
Lawn Fawn - So Thankful Border Dies
Elizabeth Craft Designs - Dies - Big Flower Set 1

Frantic Stamper - Dies - Boho Flowers

Best Glue Ever

Rinea Glossy Gold/Gold Foil Paper
Teresa Collins Brand: Memorabilia Collection Pattern Paper
Bazzil Cardstock: Pumpkin Orange & Yukon Gold
Recollections Brand 65 lb Cardstock: Kraft
Recollections Brand 110lb Cardstock: White (card base)

Happy Halloween Shaker Card with White Rose Crafts LLC

Hello Crafty Friends - I am here with a fun Halloween Shaker card featuring Lilly Luna Stamp and the beautiful Doodles Paper Playground Sparkle Blends.

I wanted to make a Halloween card using a non-Halloween stamp set.

Let's get started!

I stamped and colored my images. I colored them in traditional Halloween colors. I stamped and colored a witch hat from the Joy Clair October Fun stamp set I have in my stash. I then trimmed my images and gathered my supplies.

I trimmed all of my papers and die cut my frame for my shaker window.

I start by putting together my shaker window. I die cut a larger frame using a stitched rectangle and the smaller scalloped inner-frame. I then die cut a scalloped frame from glitter paper. I place the smaller frame inside the larger frame and adhere them to some acetate. I trim any extra acetate away. I flip over the window and place foam adhesive - 2 layers of it on the back of the window.

Next, I adhered the pattern paper onto black cardstock to create my card front panel.  Then, I placed a mixture of the Sparkle Blends: Trick or Treat and Something Wicked on the card panel. I make sure that the mix is in the center.

These Sparkle Blends have some fun pieces in them.

I then remove the lining from the foam off the window back and place it over the Sparkle Blends. I place in a bit more towards the bottom so that my sentiment can be placed in the top center.

Now, I take the stamped images and adhered the hat onto our little witch.  I also trimmed some flowers and adhered them onto the little witch's head.  I did this because the girl image has a flower in her hair but the hat only covered a portion of it. I then added some highlights using a Gelly Roll pen in white. I added some silver touches using a Gelly Roll pen.

I adhered the little witch and her doggie to the front of the window and I layered the sentiment sticker onto some black cardstock trimmed it and adhered it to the top center using foam adhesive. I added some of the Sparkle Blends to the sentiment and the corner of the window for a finishing touch. I then adhered the card panel onto my card base.

Now the shaker card is complete!
