Lucky Shaker Card with Clesr Scraps

 Hello Crafty Friends - I am here with a fun shaker card featuring
 the Clear Scraps Mini Shaker Shamrock .

Supplies Used:

Clear Scraps:  Mini Shaker Shamrock 

Plaid Paints: Kelly Green & Metallic Emerald

Cardstock: Dark Green, Medium Green, & White

Shimmer Cardstock: Gold

Shamrock Pattern Paper

White Cardbase

Pretty Pink Posh Die: Lucky

Dare 2B Artzy Dies: Rectangle Framelits

Shaker Bits

Bearly Art Glue

Tools: Paint Brush, & Paper Towels

Let's get Started.

I start by painting the back and front of the Clear Scraps Mini Shaker Shamrock .

  Then, set them aside to dry.

Next, I adhere the two inner pieces together. I place them under a heavy tile to dry.

While the pieces of the Clear Scraps Mini Shaker Shamrock  dry I adhere the pieces of the die cut sentiment together. I die cut 2 from white cardstock and 2 from shimmer cardstock. I adhere them together to make a thick chipboard piece. Then, I adhere it to the back piece.

Next, I gathered all the cardstock, pattern paper and card base together and adhered them.

Now that my Clear Scraps Mini Shaker Shamrock  pieces are dry it's time to put the shaker together.

I start by adhering the acetate piece to the back of the front piece. 

Set it aside under the heavy tile for a bit.

Next, I adhere the inner pieces to the back of the Clear Scraps Mini Shaker Shamrock  and clean up any adhesive that is showing. I also put a bit of anti-static powder in the shaker(not shown but a tip).

Next, I fill the back piece with the shaker bits and adhere the top of the

 Clear Scraps Mini Shaker Shamrock  and place it under a heavy tile for about a minute. 

Once the shaker is dry it's time to add it the card.

I adhere the Clear Scraps Mini Shaker Shamrock  to the card.

I adhere the sentiment on top of the Clear Scraps Mini Shaker Shamrock. I placed it towards the bottom of the shaker.

Finally, I add a few shaker bits and a clay two-tone heart to the card.

The card is now complete!

  Hello Crafty Friends - I am here with a mushroom themed shaker card featuring a easy to assemble shaker from Clear Scraps.

Supplies Used:
Clear Scraps Mini Mushroom Shaker
Apple Barrel Paints: Cardinal Crimson, White, & Nutmeg Brown
Stampin' Up: Little Foxy 6x6 Paper Pad
Teal Blue 100 lb Cardstock

White 110lb Cardbase
Brutus Monroe: Mushroom Garden Stamp Set

VersaFine Ink - Onyx Black

Tools: Paint Brush, Paint palette, 

Paper Towels, Water, Craft Mat

Step. 1 - I painted the base of the mushroom and the top layer of the mushroom's shaker part. I masked off the stem so not to be any red paint on it.

Then, I painted the tops with red paint and the stem with a cream paint. (I mixed white and nutmeg brown paint together to get the color I wanted). Set them a side to dry.

Step. 2 -  Next, I adhered the two inner parts of the mushroom shaker. Set it to day.

Step. 3 - While the mushroom shaker parts where drying I stamped the sentiment onto die cut cardstock with VersaFine ink. 

Step. 4 -I gathered all the items to make the shaker. I love putting Clear Scraps shakers because no foam tape is needed in the assembly.  

You just adhere the two inner chipboard shapes together then adhere them onto your base. Then, Fill the shaker with your mix. Next put some adhesive onto the edge of the base.

 I remove the film on both sides of the acetate that comes with your shaker.

Then, Place onto the base.

Finally, Adhere the painted layer onto the shaker. 

I placed the shaker under heavy acrylic blocks  the glue to dry.

Step 5. - Let's make our card. I die cut my pattern paper panels so that they are about a 1/4" smaller than my layering cardstock.

Then, I trimmed the zigzag pattern paper to 1-1/2" tall. I then adhered all the layers together onto the card base.

The Mushroom shaker is dry and ready to be add to the card front. I adhered it and popped the sentiment up. Placing it onto the stem of the mushroom.

Then I used a stylis and some of the creamy paint to add a few dots to the mushroom top.

Now, the card is complete!

Happy 4th of July Shaker Card with Clear Scraps

 Hello Crafty Friends - I am here with a 4th of July shaker card featuring a easy to assemble shaker from Clear Scraps.

Supplies Used:
Clear Scraps Mini Flag Shaker
Clear Scraps: 4x6 Star Stencil
Red, White & Blue Cardstock
Hero Arts Celebrate Stamp Set CL498
DCWV- Star Pattern Paper(Summer Stack)
Brutus Monroe Glitter Glaze Fallen Snow

Hero Arts Pigment Ink: Unicorn

Apple Barrel Paints: Red, White, & Navy

FolkArt Metallic Paint: Gun Metal Gray

Step. 1 - I start with the my card panel. This gives it some time to dry. I the Blue cardstock onto a stick mat then placed the Clear Scraps: 4x6 Star Stencil onto of the blue cardstock. 

I used the Hero Arts Pigment Ink in Unicorn with a sponge applicator to fill in the stars.

 I then did a quick heat set with my heat tool. 

I then applied a thin layer of the Glitter Glaze through the Clear Scraps: 4x6 Star Stencil.

I removed the Clear Scraps: 4x6 Star Stencil and allowed the panel to dry completely.

Step. 2 -  I started by masking the sections of the Clear Scraps Mini Flag Shaker with a bit of washi tape.

I painted the pole of the shaker with metallic paint. Then a portion of the flag with the Navy paint.

I removed the washi tape and then paited the red sections.

Finally I painted the white sections of the flag.

Step. 3 - I gathered all the items to make the shaker.

I start by tracing the flag onto the pattern paper and cutting it out. Then adhered it to the base of the Clear Scraps Mini Flag Shaker

I love putting Clear Scraps shakers because no foam tape is needed in the assembly. You just adhere the two inner chipboard shapes together then adhere them onto your base, 

Next, I remove the film on both sides of the acetate that comes with your shaker.

I filled the shaker with my mix. Then put some adhesive onto the edge of the base.

I adhered the clear acetate piece to the back of the painted flag piece.

I finally adhere the top to the shaker. Then placed it under a heavy block to allow the glue to dry.

Step. 4 - Now, that the card front panel is dry as well as our flag it's time to assemble the card. I stamp the sentiment and cut it out. I add a bit of foam adhesive to it.

I adhere the layers of the card starting with red cardstock panel, then the white, finally added the blue panel to my card base.

Next, I adhere the flag shaker and the sentiment to the card front,

Now, the card is complete!
