What Time Is It? with Rinea

Hello Crafty Friends - I am here with a fun project using some Rinea Foil Paper and
 a Clock Kit from Plaid.

Materials Used:
Black Chipboard: 6" X 6"
Memory Box: Honeycomb Background Die
Poppystamps Brand: Little Kindness Stamp Set
Tsukineko/Imagine Crafts: StazOn Ink: Jet Black
Copic Markers: Y13, and B00
Jewels: Butter Yellow
Nuvo Glitter Drops: White Blizzard
Crafter's Edge Crossover II Die-cutting Machine

Let's get started.

I gathered all the supplies I needed for the project.

I die cut the honeycomb from Rinea Foil Paper: Starstruck Gold/Gold then I set it aside.

Next, I covered the Black Chipboard with Rinea Foil Paper: Starstruck Ebony/Ebony (this will be the base of the clock)I then made a hole in the center of the chipboard for the clock mechanism to fit into.

Then, I covered the base of the clock with the honeycomb panel. (I made the center hole on this panel too). I set it aside to dry completely

I stamped the 4 flowers onto Rinea Foil Paper: Starstruck TurquoiseTurquoise using the Poppystamps Little Kindness set, with StazOn Jet Black Ink and the Rinea Clear Round Stamp Block. I then trimmed them out. I also stamped the tiny Bee from the set onto a scrap piece of white cardstock and colored it with Copic markers.

Now, that we have all the components ready let's assemble the clock.
First, insert the clock battery box from behind the clock base through the center hole. Second, slide the washer onto the stem of the clock box. Third, screw on the nut onto the stem. Making sure it is secure and tight the clock base panel.

Fourth, you see the white portion of the stem - you slide the hour hand onto it until you hear it click, Fifth, you repeat this with the minute hand.

Sixth, you snap on the second hand onto the stem - pressing down until you hear it click. *Note: your hand may bend a bit during this process just gently unbend them.

Next, we can decorate the clock with the flowers and bee. I simply placed the flowers at 12 O'Clock, 3 O'Clock, 6 O'Clock, and 9 O'Clock. I adhered the tiny bee to the second hand so he could fly around the clock. As a finishing touch, I added a few jewels to the center of my flowers and a bit of Nuvo Glitter Drops to the bee.

Now, the clock is complete! I hope you give this project a try. You can use any of the wonderful variety of colors Rinea Foil Papers has to offer.

Bouquet of Flowers in a Vase with Rinea Foil Paper

Hello Crafty Friends - I am here with a fun dimensional project.
This vase and flowers can be created for any celebration or just because.

Materials Used:
Various Floral Dies
Green Washi Tape
Craft Wire
Darice Brand: Beads and Sequins
Brother Scan n Cut Electronic Machine
Crafter's Edge Crossover II Die Cutting Machine
Xyron Inc. Creative Station Lite

Aleene's Original Tacky Glue
Recollections Brand 12x12 80lb Cardstock: White

Let's get started!

Vase
I got the Beer Glass cut file from Simply Crafty SVGs. Uploaded it into my Brother Scan N Cut. I cut the base of my vase out of plain white cardstock. * Note I only cut the glass, not the lid  I also cut the outer panels of the glass out Rinea: Starstruck Arctic/Arctic Foil Paper.

Next,  I ran the Rinea: Starstruck Artic/Artic Foil Paper glass panels through Xyron Inc. Creative Station Lite. along with the glass bottom.

Assembly:
I started by gluing one of the tabs of the vase and continued down the panel.
*Note: Simply Crafty SVGs has YT videos and PDF for assembly.
I did this to all 10 panels to create the base of the vase.

To close the bottom of the vase I adhered the decagon shape to the bottom tabs of the vase.

Then, I applied the front panels of Rinea: Starstruck Artic/Artic Foil Paper to the vase.

I die cut the flower parts from Rinea: Starstruck Arctic/Arctic Foil Paper and
Rinea: Glossy Marigold/ GoldFoil Paper along with a leaf from

Next, I cut a length of craft wire into about 20 inches. I then folded the wire in half. Added a bit of washi tape to the loop part of the wire. I take the center of the flower (comb/fringe) add a bit of adhesive to the little tab side and start rolling the center around the wire.  Making sure to add a bit of adhesive along the way.

Then, I adhered the petals (they are 3 attach little one) to the center of the flower. I then continue with the single petals medium, followed by the larger ones. I then, wrap the green washi to the wire of the flower to create a stem. I added the leaf along the way.

The Hyacinths
I die cut the flower parts from Rinea: Glossy Blush/ Gold Foil Paper
Rinea: Starstruck Turquoise/Turquoise Foil Paper (2 pieces for each flower),
Rinea Glossy Emerald/ Gold Foil Paper (1 piece for each flower),
and Rinea: Starstruck Jade/Jade Foil Paper (2 pieces for each flower),
I simply followed the easy directions on the back of the

Assembly:
I cut pieces of Rinea Glossy Emerald/ Gold Foil Paper into 2 inches wide and 8 inches long. To create the stem for the Hyacinths.  I placed a skewer at the corner of
the Rinea Glossy Emerald/ Gold Foil Paper and started rolling the paper added a few drops of adhesive along the way.

Next, the flowers, I adhered the two Rinea: Glossy Blush/ Gold Foil Paper. Then, I use the skewer to roll the petals of the Hyacinths (making sure the curls are facing out). Once all the petals are curled into place. I adhered the petals to the stem by applying a bit of adhesive the inside of the base of the petals to the stem. Making sure to add a bit of adhesive along the way so the petals are secure. I follow the petals with the Rinea: Starstruck Jade/Jade Foil Paper leaves. *Note I repeated this process for each Hyacinth created.

Blush and Marigold Flowers
I die cut the petals for all the flowers I created 2 Blush Flowers and 1 Marigold Flower.
I did them all the same way. I used Rinea: Starstruck Blush/Blush Foil Paper
and Rinea: Starstruck Emerald/Emerald Foil Paper for the Blush Flowers.
Rinea: Starstruck Marigold/Marigold Foil Paper and Rinea Glossy Emerald/ Gold Foil Paper for the Marigold flower. Along with some crafty wire, craft beads, sequins, and washi tape.

Assembly:
I start by adhering the petals in the configuration I want for each flower. Next. I slide one bead onto the craft wire (Trimmed about 20 inches). I twist the wire to secure the bead in place; I then slide the sequin on to the craft wire. They will be the centers of the flowers. Then, I slide the centers into the opening in the petals of the flowers. I add a bit of adhesive to the back of the sequins to help secure the centers in place. I then, wrap the wires with the washi tape. Making sure to add a leaf along the way.

Tiny Violet Flowers
I die cut the petals for all the flowers - I used Rinea: Glossy Lavender/ Gold Foil Paper
Rinea: Glossy Violet/ Gold Foil Paper, and Rinea: Starstruck Jade/Jade Foil Paper for all the flowers. along with tiny seed beads,  craft wire, and washi tape.

Assembly:
I adhered the layers of the flowers together. I created a small hole to the center of the petals of all the flowers for the stems. To create the stem I did the same as before. I slid the bead to the wire folded it in half and gave a bit of a twist. Insert it through the flower petals and wrapped washi tape to the wire starting at the base of the flower petals. *Note: for this flower, I wrapped each flower individually along with the leaf.  Next, I wrap two of the flowers, then add the last flower and leaf. I continue to wrap the stem. This created a multi-flower stem.

I finally add all the flowers to the vase and the project is ready to decorate any table, desk, or bedside table. Perfect for any occasion.
