Fall Gnome Home Decore with Clear Scraps

 Hello Crafty Friends - I am here with a fun Fall home decore Gnome.
 I used the Clear Scraps Extra Large Gnome # 2 with Stand and 
the Wood Shapes Fall Collection.

Supplies Used:

 Clear Scraps Extra Large Gnome # 2 with Stand

Wood Shapes Fall Collection

Recollection Brand: Colors of Autumn 12x12 Pad

Plaid: Mod Podge for Paper

Craftsmart Paint: Brown, Black, Coral, Burgundy,

Grey, Dark Grey, Metallic Silver,

Kellu Green, Golden Brown, Orange & Metallic Bright Gold

Wood Glue

Adtech Glue Tool

Adtech Low Temp Glue Sticks

Pencil and Scissors

Brushes and Foam Brush

Let's get started!

Step 1. I started by painting my stand and the base of the Clear Scraps Extra Large Gnome # 2 with Stand with brown  & black paint. Then set them aside to dry.

Step 2. I painted the hands and nose with the coral paint and I mixed a bit of the burgundy paint into it to get a shade darker for the nose. Set them aside to dry,

Step 3. I painted the Beard with light grey for the base color. Then I dry brushed the dark grey paint on top of the grey. Sto that I could create strands of hair, Once that was dry I did the same with the Metallic silver paint. I set it a Side to dry.

Step 4. I painted the Leaf from the Wood Shapes Fall Collection with Kelly Green, Burgundy, Brown and some Metallic Bright Gold paints. Bleading the paints.

I also painted the Pumpkin from the Wood Shapes Fall Collection with Orange, Golden Brown, Kelly Green, and Black paint. I set both a side to dry.

Step 5.  I traced the hat onto the back of the pattern paper and cut it out. 

I then adhered the paper to the hat with Plaid Mod Podge for paper.

Step 6. Now that all the parts of the Clear Scraps Extra Large Gnome # 2 with Stand are dry we can start assembling. I adhered the stand first. Then I place it under some heavy tiles to dry. Next I adhere the Gnomes hat and beard to the base of the gnome.

 

Then, I adhered some foam tabs and velcro to the hands, the leaf and pumpkin.

I also adhere the velcro to the gnome's beard. 

This will allow me to change the leaf with the pumpkin for Halloween. 

** Clear Scraps carries other Wood Shapes that you can use for the other holidays.

Lastly, I inserted the gnome into the stand

. ** Note: I didn't adhere my Gnome into the stand because I want to store it after the Fall holidays and He would fit into my storage tote with the stand.

Now the Gnome is complete!

Thank you Very Mush Shaker Card With Clear Scraps

  Hello Crafty Friends - I am here with a mushroom themed shaker card featuring a easy to assemble shaker from Clear Scraps.

Supplies Used:
Clear Scraps Mini Mushroom Shaker
Apple Barrel Paints: Cardinal Crimson, White, & Nutmeg Brown
Stampin' Up: Little Foxy 6x6 Paper Pad
Teal Blue 100 lb Cardstock

White 110lb Cardbase
Brutus Monroe: Mushroom Garden Stamp Set

VersaFine Ink - Onyx Black

Dare 2B Artzy: Rectangle Framelits Die Set

 Shaker Mix
Bearly Art Glue & Foam Tape

Tools: Paint Brush, Paint palette, 

Paper Towels, Water, Craft Mat

Step. 1 - I painted the base of the mushroom and the top layer of the mushroom's shaker part. I masked off the stem so not to be any red paint on it.

Then, I painted the tops with red paint and the stem with a cream paint. (I mixed white and nutmeg brown paint together to get the color I wanted). Set them a side to dry.

Step. 2 -  Next, I adhered the two inner parts of the mushroom shaker. Set it to day.

Step. 3 - While the mushroom shaker parts where drying I stamped the sentiment onto die cut cardstock with VersaFine ink. 

Step. 4 -I gathered all the items to make the shaker. I love putting Clear Scraps shakers because no foam tape is needed in the assembly.  

You just adhere the two inner chipboard shapes together then adhere them onto your base. Then, Fill the shaker with your mix. Next put some adhesive onto the edge of the base.

 I remove the film on both sides of the acetate that comes with your shaker.

Then, Place onto the base.

Finally, Adhere the painted layer onto the shaker. 

I placed the shaker under heavy acrylic blocks  the glue to dry.

Step 5. - Let's make our card. I die cut my pattern paper panels so that they are about a 1/4" smaller than my layering cardstock.

Then, I trimmed the zigzag pattern paper to 1-1/2" tall. I then adhered all the layers together onto the card base.

The Mushroom shaker is dry and ready to be add to the card front. I adhered it and popped the sentiment up. Placing it onto the stem of the mushroom.

Then I used a stylis and some of the creamy paint to add a few dots to the mushroom top.

Now, the card is complete!
