Let's Get Started
Step 1. I traced the Large House Journal Chipboard Cover pieces onto the pattern papers I chose and then I cut them out.
Next, I adhered all the papers to the Large House Journal Chipboard Cover and set them aside to dry.
Step2. I cut down the cardstock for my pages to 11" long 63/4" wide. I did a total of 9 pieces. I then scored the cardstock pages at 51/2" I then made into 3 stack of 3.
Next, I pierced the 3 holes into the cardstock. Starting in the center.
Then, with the Thread provided with the Large House Journal Chipboard Cover I stiched the pages together creating signatures. I started by going down the center hole. Up the right one then down the center. Then up the left hole. I tied off the the thread and repeated the same steps for each stack.
Step 3. I decorate each page using the papers from the Colors of Autumn 12x12 paper pad and a variety of stickers from my stash.
This gave me a total of 36 lovely pages. In three signatures.
Step 4. Now that the Large House Journal Chipboard Cover is dry I gathered the eyelet, hole punch, elestic cording, and some adhesive.
I start by finding the center of the albums spine, I marker it, then mark the two other hole spots. I repeat this step on the end of the spine, I punch the holes on all the marked spots.
Next, I insert the eyelets and set them with the Crop-A-dile.
Step 5. I adhere the spine to the front and back cover of the Large House Journal Chipboard Cover. Making sure to leave a tiny gap between the covers and the spine.
Next, I insert the cording through the holes and tie it off. I use reverse tweezers to help hold the cording for easy tieing.
Now, can insert all the pages.
The last step is to decorate the front cover. I Fussy cut the gather togetherfrom one of the pattern papers and adhered it to the cover. Then, I added a few die cut leaves and a glitter pumpkin sticker.
Now, the Album is complete!
Thank you for stopping by the blog today. I hope you found some inspiration!
