Father's Day Shaker Card with Clear Scraps

 Hello Crafty Friends - I am here with a Father's day shaker card featuring the Mini Square Chipboard Shaker from Clear Scraps.


Supplies Used:
My Stash
Cardstock: Black, Light Gray & Light Yellow
Shimmer Cardstock: Silver
Acrylic Paints: Metallic Gun Metal Gray & Matte Black
Shaker Bits
Hero Arts: Celebrate Everyday Clear Stamp Set
Various Dies: Tools, Stitched Rectangle
Metallic Silver Stars Embellishments
Metallic Brad Tops Embellishments
Bearly Art Glue & Foam Strip

Step 1. I paint the base of the Mini Square Chipboard Shaker in the Metallic Gun Metal Gray. I then paint the top frame of the Mini Square Chipboard Shaker in Matte Black. I set them a side to dry. 


Step 2. I adhere the two inner pieces of the frame of the Mini Square Chipboard Shaker together with some Bearly Art Glue.

 I set a heavy acrylic block on top of them to help them dry flat.

Step 3. I adhere the inner frames onto the base and set a heavy acrylic block on top of them to help them dry flat.

Once dry gather all the elements for the shaker.

I put the shaker bit into the base.

I put some glue around the inner frame and place the clear acetate that come the Mini Square Chipboard Shaker


I then adhere the top frame onto the Mini Square Chipboard Shaker and place a heavy acrylic block on top of it.


Step 4. While the shaker is drying I adhere the Black cardstock tot the card base then the Light Gray cardstock. I stamp the sentiment onto the Light Gray Cardstock and mat it with the Black cardstock.

Step 5. Now that all the elements are dry we can assemble the card. 

I start by adhering the shaker to the lower part of the card front. Then, I adhere the die cut tools onto the Mini Square Chipboard Shaker.

Next, I adhere the sentiment with a foam strip for a bit of height. I then adhere a few Metallic stars and Brad top to the card front.


Now, the card is complete!

Happy Father's Day Card with Clear Scraps

Hello Crafty Friends - I am here with a Father's Day card featuring Chipboard Compass Embellishment from Clear Scraps.

Distress Stain: Weathered Wood, Brushed Corduroy, & Antiqued Bronze
Brutus Monroe Chroma Glaze: Copper

Canson Watercolor Cardstock
Recollections Brand 80lb Cardstock: Kraft
Recollections Brand 80lb Coragated Cardstock: Kraft

Step. 1 - I started by applying some Distress Stainin Weathered Wood onto the watercolor cardstock. Then, I applied Distress Stain in Antiqued Bronze onto an 1" strip of the tissue paper. Set them aside to dry.


Step. 2 - I applied some Distress Stain in Brushed Corduroy and Brutus Monroe Chroma Glaze in Copper to the Clear Scraps: Chipboard Compass Embellishment. Making sure to fill in the center and the direction letters with the Chroma Glaze.

Step. 3 - I adhered the Tissue paper onto the watercolor panel and die cut it. 

Step. 4 - I used the Clear Scraps: Grunge Brick 5x9 Stencil and Brutus Monroe Chroma Glaze in Copper on the Panel. Set it aside to dry about 5 minutes.

Step. 5 -  Now that all the delements are dry it's time to adhere them together.  

I adhered the stenciled watercolor panel onto the Kraft cardsrock. Then, I adhered the panel onto the card base. I adhered the coragated piece overlappeing the tissue paper area.

and stamp  sentiment onto the card front.

I finished the card with a few clear enamel dots.

Now, the card is complete!

Happy Father's Day Card with Die Cut Divas

 Hello Crafty Friends - Today, I am sharing this Father's Day Card featuring Elizabeth Craft Designs Dies. I used the Take Time For You Die set. It's an oldie but goodie.


I used some metallic cardstock for the watch.
