Dino Mini Album with Clear Scraps

Hello Crafty Friends - I am here with a fun Dinosaur themed album featuring the Deco Tab Chipboard Album from Clear Scraps.

Supplies Used:
Echo Park: Dino-Mite 12x12 Kit
Cardstock: Green, Light Green, Orange & Navy
Acrylic Paint: Green & Light Green
2 Medium Ring Binders
Tools:
Trimmer, Scissors, Craft Knife & Hole Punch
Paint Brush, Paper towels, & Pencil
Masking tape, Bearly Art Glue, Foam Tabs
 Anit-static Powder Tool
Various Colors of Ric-Rac

Step. 1: I started by masking the edge of all the tabs.

Next, I painted the tabs in alternating greens. Green then light green. I repeated the process on the back side.

I then gently remeved all the masking tape and set the pages off to the side to dry.

Step. 2: I trimmed all the pages for the album. Along with all the photo mats. Pages all measure 6-3/4" wide by 8-1/4" long. I cut some cardstock along with the pattern paper from the kit. The photo mates all 3" x4". I also trimmed the cut apart pages that are inclued tin the kit. I used them as photo mats and decor throught the album.

Step. 3: I adhered the pattern paper to the cover of the album. Then using a hole punch I punched the hole in the paper.

I repeat the process on the other side with cardstock. I do this for all the pages of the album

Step. 4: I decorate all the pages and covers of the album. I included a few 4" x 6" cut a parts from the kit as little inserts for more decor, photos, journaling. I add the ring binders and some Ric-Rac for a fun touch.

Here's a look at the album.

Friends, Birthdays and Betty Boop...

The month of May was filled with lots of fun activities for our family. We had Mother's day, school functions, Our youngest daughter was inducted into the National Junior Honor Society. Then there was a few birthdays -- my hubby's, several other family members and 2 neighbor friends (One of which I have become so very close to).

She (Norma) loves all things Betty Boop. So, for her birthday gift I created a mini envelope album. I decided to keep it simple because she doesn't scrapbook and finds it very intimidating. I figured this would be a great way to get her into scrapbooking. After, receiving her album she wants to create one of her children and grandson.

I love the way envelope album give you pockets to hide journaling on minis.

Thanks for looking. Leave me a comments.
