Geometric Happy Birthday Card with Dies R Us

Hello Crafty Friends - I am here with a fun quick and easy geometric, rainbow birthday card.

I figured with some of us already back to school shopping and some of us still on summer break it would be a good idea to keep this weeks card simple.

Here's the card I created.

Let's get started

I start by gathering my supplies; the dies and scraps of cardstock in rainbow colors, white cardstock for the sentiment and a black cardstock card front panel.

Next, I die cut the squares from the rainbow cardstock. I only used the 3 smaller square dies. I also die cut the sentiment 3 times.

Then, I ran the squares and the sentiments (except the Red and Blue squares) through my Xyron 3" sticker maker. I then rub and removed the protective sheet from the Xyron adhesive sheet.

Next, I placed my squares onto the black cardstock front panel. Keeping the squares to the left side of the front panel. I used some foam adhesive on the red and blue squares for some added dimension.

Then, I stacked the sentiments on top of one another to get some dimension. This was really easy because of the Xyron adhesive.

Next, I  added the sentiment to the card front panel. Then, I added some sequins for a finishing touch. I kept the sequins in rainbow colors.

Now, the card is complete!

Materials Used:
Dovecraft - Dies - Happy Birthday

Memory Box - Dies - Stitched Squares

Xyron 3" Sticker Maker
Recollections Brand Cardstock: Red, White, Black, Yellow,
Orange, Green, Purple, and Blue
Darice Brand Sequins: Birthday Hat, Stars, Round, and Tiny Confetti
Low Profile Foam Adhesive

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you found some inspiration!

Don't forget to come and join in the fun at the Dies R Us Challenge Blog. There's a new challenge theme offered on the 1st and 15th of each month and one lucky randomly drawn winner will receive a gift voucher prize to the Dies R Us Store. Happy For You Tag with A2Z Scrapbooking

Hello Crafty Friends - Annie here with a sparkly Tag featuring Hero Arts Flowers for Coloring Stamp Set, Hero Arts Winged Friends Digital Printable and Hero Arts Happy Stamp & Cut Set DC150

I created this fun tag using the Hero Arts Infinity Tags Dies DI197

I started by stamping and printing out the flowers, leaves, and dragonfly. I then colored them with my Spectrum Noir Markers. Next, I die cut the word happy 3x once from Gold Foil Cardstock and 2x from plain white cardstock. I also die cut the tags the largest and second-largest; as well as the reinforcer for the tag.

I adhered the leaves and flowers to the White tag. The leaves I adhered flat and the flowers and dragonfly I used some foam adhesive. I stack and glued the word happy. I adhered it to the tag. I stamped the for you sentiment and cut a small sentiment strip. I adhered it to the tag using foam adhesive. Next, I adhered a small strip of patterned foil paper to the bottom of the white tag. Then, I adhered the white tag to the maroon tag. I added some gold ribbon and for finishing touches I added some Nuvo Drops in Gold and White Blizzard to the flowers and dragonfly.

Have a Cuppa Happiness with SumMore Fun Stamps

Hello Crafty Friends - I am here with some projects featuring Sundri's High Tea

I created a card and a 3D tea set - well, it's a teapot bag and a teacup. Perfect for gift giving.

Let's start with the card.

Have A Cuppa Happiness -I created it using the Sundri's High Tea  Papers and Sticker set.
I used the teacup and the sentiment from the sticker sheet. I used one of the floral papers and one of the teacup papers for the layer and banner. I also fussy cut the tea leaves from the strip paper - Sundri's High Tea - 10325. I stamped & colored the tea bag. For finishing touches, I added a die-cut doily, some Jewels, die-cut mini gold heart & gold ribbon.

Wishing You Warmth and Love - I used the Sundri's High Tea  Papers and Sticker set for this project. I used some templates I found on Pinterest for the bag and cup. I then added the papers, a bit of Distress Oxide Ink in Bundled Sage and sticker sentiment to finish the project.

Thank you for stopping by the blog today. I hope you found some inspiration!

Surfer's Paradise Candy Holder

Hello Crafty Friends - I am here with a cool candy holder -perfect for Summer!

This candy holder is a lifeguard station featuring some surfboards.

I filled mine with what else - Salt Water Taffy!

Materials Used:
Recollections Brand Cardstock: Kraft and Cream
Aleene's Tacky Glue
Salt Water Taffy

Let's get started!

I start by downloading the SVG files from Simply Crafty SVGs. I then upload them into my Brother Scan n Cut program. I increase the size of the files to 120. This is a box card file but I turned it into a candy holder by added a piece of cardstock to the bottom of the station.

Inside view of the station

Bottom view of the station.

I follow the instruction provided by Simply Crafty SVGs YT video and when complete I filled it with the Taffy. It's a perfect summer decoration. You can gift wrap it and give it to a special someone or display it on your desk at work.
