Thank You for Being So Amazing Card

Let's Get started!

I start by gathering the components for the card. I trimmed the green gingham pattern paper to 3", the rose pattern to 1-1/4", I also trimmed a piece of Aspire Petallics Autumn Hay cardstock to 1". I die cut flowers from watercolor paper 5x, (I cut some of the leaves off for extra layering) and a card front panel from white cardstock. I pulled a few embellishments as well- washi, rhinestone flowers, puffy hearts and more (note - I didn't use all the embellishments I pulled - Yes, I am an overpuller 😉)

I used the Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Ink in Tattered Rose (from the Kit), Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Ink Worn Lipstick, Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Ink Bundled Sage & Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Ink Peeled Paint. I added a bit of water to the ink I smudged on my craft mat. I then used a paintbrush and colored the flowers and stems. On 2 of the flowers, I took out the little pieces, but on one of the flowers, I left all the pieces in - that is where I used the Worn Lipstick & Peeled paint to create some contrast and dimension. I set them aside to dry.

Next, I start to assemble the card. I adhered the green pattern paper first, then the rose pattern paper. Then, I put a strip of gold washi onto the Aspire Autumn Hay Petallics cardstock.  Next, I placed the Aspire Autumn Hay Petallics cardstock on top of the seam of the two pattern papers.

Then, I gathered the dried flowers and adhere them to the front of the card. I place the two flowers that I removed the bits from down first. I then add a bit of foam adhesive to the flower with all the bit in and place it on top of the other flowers. arranging them to the left of the card. I tucked the extra leaves in under the flowers.

Next, I decide on the rhinestone flowers (from the kit) and some puffy hearts for embellishments. I added 3 of the rhinestone flowers on the watercolored flowers. I then added 2 tiny puffy gold hearts by the flowers.

Finally, I adhered the sentiment (from the kit) using a bit of foam. I add a tiny gold puffy heart onto the sentiment.

That's it the card is complete.

Hello Crafty Friends - I am here with some School Cards.

Most of our children have started or will be starting school soon. I thought it would fun to create a few cards to inspire them to back into school.

Card # 1 Learn Full Tutorial

Let's get started.

I gathered the components for the card.
I stamped and colored the Ruler, & Pencil. I also stamped the Notebook paper 3x and added a few of the mini sentiments, math problem and letter grade to the paper. I trimmed the pattern paper and card front panel. I die cut a File Folder from yellow cardstock for some finishing touches I used some Gold stars, paper clip & chipboard tag.

Next, I start layering the blue star pattern paper and a red cardstock onto the card front panel. Then, I layered the Ruler to cover the seams of the other papers.

I tucked two of the notebook papers into the little file folder. I added a bit of adhesive to make sure they don't move. Then, I added a paper clip. Place some foam adhesive to the back of the folder and placed it onto the card front. Next, I added the chipboard tag.

Then, I added a bit of foam adhesive onto the notebook paper with all the stamped mini sentiments and layered on the file folder. Next, I adhered the pencil toward the bottom of the notebook paper. For finishing touches, I added 3 gold stars.

I stamped and colored the elements (backpack, apples, book stack, & Lunchbox) I fussy cut them and popped them up on some foam tape and placed them on the white cardstock strip. I added a bit of foam tape on the back of the white cardstock strip and added it to the card front.

I cut some fishtail banners from the pattern paper and stapled them together with Tim Holtz mini Stapler. Tuck them just under the white cardstock strip. Season's Greeting with White Rose Crafts LLC

Hello Crafty Friends - I am here with a Holiday card for our special promotion Christmas in July!
Image may contain: text

We're featuring different Christmas cards created by the White Rose Crafts LLC Design Team.

I created this fun Christmas in Florida card.
I do not get a white Christmas - Sometimes we get a cold Christmas but,
most of the time we're in shorts.

For this card, I used the Kaiser Crafts Summer Splash Stamp Set
from the July Mediterranean Dreams

I added a few other stamps from Stampendous and Inkadinkado to finish off my scene. Along with some Nuvo Drops for the Christmas lights.

I did some embossing with Glitter Gold Embossing powder. The background was created with some Distress inks and a Cloud Stencil for the sky.

I hope you can give your Mediterranean Dreams Kit stamps another look and create a Christmas card with them. The little cottages can easily become little Winter Cabins.

Materials Used From the Mediterranean Dreams Kit:

Other Materials Used:
Stampendous Stamps: Fran's Seaside Chair Set (Sand with grass)
Inkadinkado Stamps: Coastal Set (Sun, Palm Trees & Lighthouse)
Stampendous Embossing Powder: Jeweled Glitter Gold
Recollections Brand Heavy Weight Cardstock:
 Pink & Light Green
Spectrum Noir Markers: MG1, MG2, GT1, GT2,TB1, TB2, & HB1

Two Cards One Kit with White Rose Crafts LLC

Hello Crafty Friends - I am here with 2 very different cards from one kit. This post is a bit long but, I hope you will enjoy it.

I am using the July Mediterranean Dreams Kit from White Rose Crafts LLC

Image may contain: food No photo description available. No photo description available. No photo description available. No photo description available. No photo description available.
This fabulous Subscription Kit brings together sparkling, azure Mediterranean seas, sun-bleached shores and the rich colors of vibrant Mediterranean cultures in a carefully curated kit. Just gorgeous!

 Card #1 - Fresh
This is a simple card. Using one of the cut apart topper sheet for the sentiment and image.

Let's get started.

I used one of the card bases that comes in the kit. I pulled some MFT Gumdrop Green cardstock
from my stash to accent the image and pattern paper.

First, I trimmed my topper and layered it onto the green cardstock. Then, I did the same to the pattern paper. I adhered the pattern paper and cardstock layer onto the yellow card base.

Next, I adhered the topper to the pattern paper with some foam adhesive.

Then, I pulled out the Doodles Paper Playground Sparkle Blend from the kit along with some Nuvo Drops for embellishing the card. I added two clusters of sparkle blends to the corners of the card and a butterfly to the topper. I added a bit of Dandelion Yellow to the center of the butterfly and some White Blizzard to the sentiment and as an accent to the lemons.

Now, the card is complete. Quick and easy.
Materials Used:
From the Kit:

Other:
My Favorite Things Cardstock: Gumdrop Green

Card # 2 - Wish You Were Here

This card is a bit more detailed. I used the stamp set from the kit, pattern papers and sparkle blend.

Let's get started.

I started by cutting two strips from the pattern paper. I used the blue pattern strip and the cream and tan pattern paper. Then, I die cut the blue pattern paper into waves and the cream pattern paper into a sand hill. Then, I stamped the 2 little beach cottages and colored them. I also stamped the palm trees and boat. I used some Distress Oxide Ink for the boat and palm tree. I fussy cut the sun from the other cut apart Topper sheet 2. I pulled some yellow and light blue cardstock from my stash.

Next, I inked the edges of the waves and sand hill with some Distress Oxide inks. This will give them more definition. Then, I adhered the blue waves onto the light blue cardstock. Next, I layered the sand using some foam adhesive onto the waves. Then, I adhered the blue panel on to the yellow cardstock.

Next,, I adhered the palm tree and boat. Tucking the palm tree just behind the sand. I tucked the boat behind the palm tree. Then, I added the little cottages. I tucked in some clouds - one behind the palm tree and one just behind the sun which I popped up on foam adhesive. Finally, I added the sentiment and some Sparkle Blends. I used 6 Sparkle Blends from the past kit (Barista) for coconuts for the palm trees. I also added 2 small clusters to the left corner of the card and to the sentiment. I added a few seagulls to the sky - because we all know the Beach would not be the same without them.

Now, the card is complete!
Materials Used:
From the Kit:
Kaiser Crafts Summer Splash Stamp Set (Cottages & Sentiment)

Other
Apple Blossom Stamps: Summer Holiday Set (Seagulls)
Fiskars Stamps: Tropical Getaway Set (Palm Trees & Boat)
Lawn Fawn Dies:
