I created this card a few days ago. It was a lot of fun to create. I used a free chibi image from Yumpuff. I colored her with color pencils and blended out with baby oil. I added a some more details with a black fine tip Sharpie. I then used a free digital kit that I printed out for the rest of the card. I add some washi tape, enamel dots & Zig Wink of Stella to finish off the card.

I love this picture of my daughter and son posing on top of the van. They were outside with their dad and I watching the shuttle launch. I love their carefree smiles. Their faces as they watched the shuttle up in the sky. Their questions after. I miss those days of wonder.

Now, She's 18 years old and in college and he is 15 years old in high school. They are both so intelligent and funny.

Here are a few pictures of all the little details.
I used some rub-ons (star & heart),  package techniques for the background, some watercolor pencils for the circles, washi tape, puffy hearts, enamel hearts & stars, tissue paper behind the picture, some sequins and some Heidi Swapp  Colorshine in Navy.

Sharing another layout today. This one of my children. They are so silly and happy-go-lucky. I love that about them. I thought it was a fitting title for this layout. Forever Young by Bob Dylan. Every time I hear this song I think of them. They are growing up to be amazing people.

Here are a few close up of all the little details.

Thanks for stopping by I hope you create a project using a song title or lyric. If you do please lpost your project here in the comments I would love to see it.

So in honor of Mega-Con being this weekend here in Florida. I wanted to share this layout of my daughter Kaitlyn and family friend Comic Book Artist Mike Wagganer - creator of Deep Space Tragedy.  They are always silly when they get together. Love them both.

Lots of layers and bits for this one. Fun glittery Thickers in a bold color. Sub-title in Simple Stories Snap letter stickers. Some washi tape in superhero actin words.  Little  touches of enamel dots & wood veneers Older paper line. Hey - got to use it up right!. 😄💟

I created this layout of our sweet boy Rukkus. He was about 9 weeks old in this picture. My hubby Fran adopted him from the animal shelter. We all fell in love with Rukkus, He made it real easy to fall in love with him. He was such a lovable Pitt bull.

Ok, so now let me tell you about the layout. I did some roller stamping & splatter, stamped some words and rub-ons for  my background. Then cut staggering lengths & widths of pattern paper and layered them. I even used my broader  punch on one. I used some washi tape (checkerboard & Hearts). Added some enamel dots, wood veneers and cork embellishments. The banner is a Heidi Swapp color-able paper. I used Thickers and a pre-made topper for the title.

Thanks for stopping by my blog if you have any questions or comments please feel free to add it to the comment section.
