So Thankful for You with Dies R US

Hello Crafty Friends - I am here with an easy thankful card perfect to send out for Thanksgiving or as a simple thank you card.

I used light fall colors for this card.

Let's get started!

I started by die cutting the flowers from yukon gold and pumpkin orange cardstock. 6 in total - 4 yukon gold and 2 pumpkin orange. I die cut the center of the flowers from metallic copper cardstock, the sentiment from the light yellow ochre cardstock. The leaves I die cut from leftover Rinea Foil Paper I used for another project - I used some Tim Holtz Alcohol inks on the foil paper. I trimmed my card front panel from Kraft cardstock (4-1/4" x5-1/2") and I also trimmed some striped pattern paper(4" x 5-1/4")

I adhered the pattern paper to the kraft cardstock panel. I then set it aside to work on the flowers.

I use a pad (you can use a mouse pad or thick craft foam) under my flower and a stylus and curl the flowers upward towards the center. I then put a bit of glue in the center of the flowers and stack them making sure that the petals are all alternating.  Finally, I adhered the center of the flowers.

Then, I adhered the leaves to the card panel. I placed them in the left bottom corner. Next, I adhered the flowers overlapping the leaves. Making sure to place the Medium flower toward the bottom for some weight. Then, I adhered the sentiment to the top of the card.
(below you can see a close- up of the leaves. I used reds and some green on the leaves)

For some finishing touches, I added some Jewels to the center of the flowers and in the upper right corner. I also added a yellow Heart to the card panel. I adhered the card panel to a white card base.

Now the card is complete!

Happy Halloween Shaker Card with White Rose Crafts LLC

Hello Crafty Friends - I am here with a fun Halloween Shaker card featuring Lilly Luna Stamp and the beautiful Doodles Paper Playground Sparkle Blends.

I wanted to make a Halloween card using a non-Halloween stamp set.

Let's get started!

I stamped and colored my images. I colored them in traditional Halloween colors. I stamped and colored a witch hat from the Joy Clair October Fun stamp set I have in my stash. I then trimmed my images and gathered my supplies.

I trimmed all of my papers and die cut my frame for my shaker window.

I start by putting together my shaker window. I die cut a larger frame using a stitched rectangle and the smaller scalloped inner-frame. I then die cut a scalloped frame from glitter paper. I place the smaller frame inside the larger frame and adhere them to some acetate. I trim any extra acetate away. I flip over the window and place foam adhesive - 2 layers of it on the back of the window.

Next, I adhered the pattern paper onto black cardstock to create my card front panel.  Then, I placed a mixture of the Sparkle Blends: Trick or Treat and Something Wicked on the card panel. I make sure that the mix is in the center.

These Sparkle Blends have some fun pieces in them.

I then remove the lining from the foam off the window back and place it over the Sparkle Blends. I place in a bit more towards the bottom so that my sentiment can be placed in the top center.

Now, I take the stamped images and adhered the hat onto our little witch.  I also trimmed some flowers and adhered them onto the little witch's head.  I did this because the girl image has a flower in her hair but the hat only covered a portion of it. I then added some highlights using a Gelly Roll pen in white. I added some silver touches using a Gelly Roll pen.

I adhered the little witch and her doggie to the front of the window and I layered the sentiment sticker onto some black cardstock trimmed it and adhered it to the top center using foam adhesive. I added some of the Sparkle Blends to the sentiment and the corner of the window for a finishing touch. I then adhered the card panel onto my card base.

Now the shaker card is complete!

BOO You More with Dies R Us

Hello Crafty Friends - I am here with a fun interactive Halloween card.

I cute way to send a little Halloween love to a loved one.

Let's get started

I start by stamping, coloring and cutting the images. I then trimmed my cardstock the black to 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" the cream to 3-1/4" x 5". I trimmed the pattern paper to 4" x 5-1/4". Next, I die cut the flap into the cream cardstock. I also die cut the letters for the word BOO.

I wanted to show you how I made the leaves. I stamped the image onto white cardstock. I then used Distress Oxide ink to color the leaves. I then did a few water droplets onto the leaves. I went over all my images with an EK Success Pen for a bolder black outline.

Then, I adhered the pattern paper onto the black cardstock. I then placed foam adhesive on the black of the cream flip cardstock. I centered it onto the pattern paper. (make sure not to get any adhesive near your flip-up panel)

 .

Next, I ran my images and letters through the Xyron 3" sticker maker. I then placed the leaves on the inside of the flap. Then the pumpkin and followed by the ghost. Creating a little tower.

I closed the flap over and placed the word BOO on the flap. I also stamped onto a strip of cream cardstock the sentiment YOU MORE and fishtailed the ends. I adhered the strip onto some pattern paper and fishtailed the ends. I adhered the sentiment strip with some low profile foam tape.

For finishing touches, I added an enamel dot and stars to the top right and bottom left corners.
I also added a bit of Nuvo Glitter Drops onto the ghost, pumpkin, and leaves.

Now the card is complete!

Pumpkin: BO1, BO2, BO3, JG3 & DG4
